Plunge Pools

Characterized by their small, shallow build, plunge pools are increasing in popularity and can be an exciting addition to your outdoor living area. Though their name suggests something a lot more energetic, plunge pools offer the ultimate relaxation time – rather than swimming or exercising, they are used for wading, lounging and simply cooling off.

These small pools are a welcome retreat after exercising or sitting in a hot tub, offering the benefits of cold-plunge therapy. Another advantage of plunge pools is that, compared to bigger swimming pools, they are much easier to clean and maintain, and can fit in limited spaces.

The team at Ashton Pools by Design are passionate about building stunning outdoor living spaces for you to enjoy for years to come. We’ll take on every aspect of the project – from the initial 3D designs through to the finishing touches – so you can sit back and relax.

As active members of our local community, we’re proud to be Delaware’s premier pool builder, and our membership to the global Master Pools Guild is testament to our expertise. We love working with clients to achieve their dream outdoor living space – contact us today to arrange a consultation.

Plunge Pools FAQ's

What size is a plunge pool?

A plunge pool can be any size but is typically somewhere between 6x6 and 16x16 - a lot depends on the space you have.

Can I heat a plunge pool as I do with a spa?

You sure can! You could also chill it to keep it cool in the high heat of the summer.

Can I build a plunge pool in my raised deck?

You sure can. It does typically require an understructure, which can greatly add to the overall cost.

The Ashton group at the beach did an incredible job with our pool/ patio project! The whole project went smoothly and exceeded our expectations! Every step of the project was on time, efficient, and organized! We now have an oasis in our back yard. I would highly recommend them!
